Question #1: On what days is moorage available?
Your entry fee covers moorage at the Victoria International Marina (VIM
) from May 31st through to June 10th. Boats arriving prior to May 31st or wishing to stay after June 10th will need to make private arrangements for moorage.
Question #2: Where can boats be launched?
Launching of boats will be as per the calendar on our web site (About > Calendar of Events
). If you plan to arrive earlier, please let us know via our contact form and we will attempt to accommodate you.
Question #3: Where will trailers be stored?
Trailer storage is available for the duration of the regatta at the Canadian Forces Sailing Association (CFSA
). This location is 2kms from VIM
Question #4: Where can a competitor’s “mother-ship” be berthed?
We recommend that you contact VIM
directly to discuss this matter.
Question #5: Where can we stay?
We have received queries about the proximity of accommodation relative to the Victoria International Marina (VIM
) for boat crews and we recommend that you search on-line for accommodation. In addition, if you go to (About > Tourism Victoria
) on our web site you will find many places to stay listed on that site. Victoria is a small city with good walking and cycling paths that connect VIM to the downtown and the trailer storage areas. There will be sufficient parking (vehicles only) in the immediate location of VIM.
